Idea #33
Posted by distorcao under Productivity | Tags: efficient, monitor, monitoring, productive, Productivity, Training, twitter |One of our teachers in Teaching and Learning in Digital Environments class just described a library who used Twitter to to monitor what their staff members were doing throughout their work day. They wanted to create an accurate, detailed picture of what staff did, how long it took to do it, etc. This could be used at LCL to determine if our staffing is efficient, and if people are being placed where they are needed at optimum times. It can also show a picture of what types of work are being done most often. Staffing, training and programming could be adjusted using the Twitter response pattern. (I have to thank Karen Hein and Sarah Churchill for this suggestion)
